In 2021, HATS Network launched Our Hospitality & Tourism Commitment a voluntary code of working practices and to work with the HATS Network, educational institutions and our partners to promote the hospitality industry as a rewarding career choice.
Over 100 businesses across Northern Ireland’s hospitality and tourism sector signed up to the Commitment to being an ‘employer of choice’, providing good quality training, work-life balance and support to their people.
Our Hospitality & Tourism Commitment has now been replaced by the ‘Wellbeing and Development Promise’ - a UK wide initiative developed by the UK Hospitality & Tourism Skills Board to promote the wellbeing and development of staff within both sectors.
